The General Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government Issued a Notice on Certain Measures to Accelerate the Development of the Integrated Circuit Industry (Shen Fu Ban Gui [2019] No. 4)
The General Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government issued a notice on certain measures to accelerate the development of the integrated circuit industry on 23 April 2019. The specific measures include supporting integrated circuit enterprises to set up R&D centres and invest in industrialization projects in Shenzhen, improving the industrial chain, and supporting core technology research and development, encouraging domestic and foreign enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions to jointly build core technology research centres, increasing the investment and financing efforts and improving the talent system in the industry. The measures also include different R&D funding, financial incentives and other support.
The "Measures on Accelerating the Development of the Integrated Circuit Industry" came into effect on 1 May 2019 and will be valid for 5 years.
