The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province published the Notice on the Implementation of the 2022 Provincial-level Special Funds for Promoting High-quality Economic Development (New Generation of Information Technology and Industrial Development) on 22 June 2021.

The notice addressed the requirement of application of the fund and the policy aims to support the development of semiconductor and integrated circuit industries as well as other strategic pillar industries.
