3-year action plan for developing an innovative and technological city in Guangzhou (2019-2021) on 29 September 2019
The Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau issued a notice on 3-year action plan for developing an innovative and technological city in Guangzhou (2019-2021) on 29 September 2019. The action plan has launched 8 key actions in order to jointly build the international innovation and technology hub in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a comprehensive national science centre to achieve the goal of building a strong city of science and technology innovation in 2035. Among them, it is proposed to deepen the exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao in the section of opening up, innovation and corporation action for win-win situation, specific work arrangements have also been proposed. In addition, the action plan also proposes corresponding safeguard measures for strengthening innovation policies, science and technology finance linkages, innovation culture ecology and organization leadership.
