Notice on Interim Measures for Supporting the Development of Cross-border E-commerce Industry in Zhuhai Free Trade Zone (Zhu Bao [2020] No.18)

To cultivate the e-commerce industry and combine the Zhuhai Free Trade Zone and the Zhuhai Industrial Park in the Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Zone, the measures provide multiple financial support for cross-border e-commerce companies from 10 major directions.


The Management Committee of Zhuhai Free Trade Zone has issued a notice on interim measures for supporting the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in Zhuhai Free Trade Zone on 8 April 2020. In order to cultivate the e-commerce industry and combine the Zhuhai Free Trade Zone and the Zhuhai Industrial Park in the Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Zone, the measures provide multiple financial support for cross-border e-commerce companies from 10 major directions. Directions include providing rental support for office space, encouraging companies to settle and expand development in Zhuhai Free Trade Zone, supporting companies to reduce operating costs, encouraging companies to cultivate their own brands, promoting companies to set up offline experience stores and supporting the establishment of e-commerce regulatory agencies, etc. The measures increase the maximum amount of support for a single enterprise to RMB1,000,000 per year from RMB500,000 per year of the expired policy , further increase support and reduce the cost of customs clearance operations of enterprises in the park. The measures came into force on 8 April 2020 and would be valid until 31 December 2022.
