Notice on the Online Booking System for Customs Clearance (Public Notice [2018] No. 109 of the General Administration of Customs)

To improve customs clearance service, the General Administration of Customs will implement an online booking system for customs clearance for export and import of goods. Import and export consignees or their agents who are transporting national emergency relief supplies, dangerous goods, fresh, frozen, perishable and rotten goods that require emergency customs clearance or other goods require urgent inspection and release upon approval by the customs, they can register through the online booking system for going through customs formalities outside normal office hours of the customs. General enterprises shall register for the service 24 hours in advance, while authorised enterprises shall register for the service 8 hours in advance.
