Notice on Zhuhai Industrial Development and Innovation Talent Award (Official Letter of Zhuhai Municipal Government [2018] No. 255)
The Zhuhai municipal government released the "Zhuhai Industrial Development and Innovative Talents Incentive Measures", which is effective from 18 October 2018 and valid for 5 years. Qualified personnel who have worked in modern service enterprises and innovative R&D institutions, paid individual income tax in Zhuhai, and have outstanding contributions in management and technological innovation can apply for the Zhuhai Industrial Development and Innovation Talent Award. There is no maximum amount for the award.
Abstract
The Zhuhai municipal government released the "Zhuhai Industrial Development and Innovative Talents Incentive Measures" ("the Measures"), which is effective from 18 October 2018 and valid for 5 years.
The Measures require city and regional (including Hengqin, administrative regions, economic zones) governments (administrative committees) to arrange for exclusive funding annually to award talents in industrial development and innovation work. Moreover, the Measures also awards innovative entrepreneurs who have outstanding contribution to the industrial development and independent innovation in Zhuhai annually.
Qualified personnel who have worked in modern service enterprises and innovative R&D institutions, paid individual income tax in Zhuhai, and have outstanding contributions in management and technological innovation can apply for the Zhuhai Industrial Development and Innovation Talent Award.
Once approved by the local innovation talent award working committee, the local Human Resources authority would release the application details to the public. The short-listed candidates will be announced by the local Human Resources authority for 5 working days. The award is determined based on factors including the level of contribution made to the industrial development and independent innovation in Zhuhai, income earned for the past year and share transfer. There is no maximum amount for the award.
