Notice from Zhuhai Municipal Government on Several Policies to Further Promote Scientific and Technological Innovation in Zhuhai (Zhu Fu Ban Han [2020] No.1)
To accelerate industrial development, strengthening the ability of source innovation and achievement transformation, constructing a multi-level technology innovation platform, stimulating the vitality of scientific and technological innovation talents and strengthening technological and financial support capabilities.
The Zhuhai Municipal Government issued a notice on certain policies to further promote scientific and technological innovation in Zhuhai on 2 January 2020. The policy has formulated a total of 20 measures from 6 directions, including promoting the development of regional collaborative innovation, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship to accelerate industrial development, strengthening the ability of source innovation and achievement transformation, constructing a multi-level technology innovation platform, stimulating the vitality of scientific and technological innovation talents and strengthening technological and financial support capabilities. Among these measures, in order to strengthen Hong Kong and Macao technology innovation cooperation, the establishment of a branch of State Key Laboratory in Zhuhai will be granted financial subsidies of a maximum of RMB 2 million and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Joint Laboratory approved by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province will also be given a maximum of RMB 2 million as subsidies afterwards.
