[Provincial Public Security Department] New Administrative Measures on Guangdong-Hong Kong and Guangdong-Macao cross-border non-franchise vehicles

In order to facilitate economic exchange and trade between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao residents, the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department has introduced working measures in relation to cross-border non-franchise vehicles in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The measures are effective from 15 April 2019. Eligible foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan businesses may apply for commercial vehicle permits for entering and existing Hong Kong and Macao, and may apply up to a maximum of 15 commercial vehicles. Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign residents with Guangdong Talent Superior A Cards may also apply for commercial vehicle permits for entering and existing Hong Kong and Macao for 1 commercial vehicle each.
