Shenzhen Three-Year Action Plan (2023-2025) to Accelerate the Building of a "New Generation World-Class Auto City"
On 3 August 2023, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality issued the "Shenzhen Three-Year Action Plan (2023-2025) to Accelerate the Building of a "New Generation World-Class Auto City"" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan").
The "Action Plan" clearly puts forward an overall goal, five major development orientations, ten key projects and five safeguard measures for Shenzhen to build a "new generation of world-class automobile city". By 2025, Shenzhen's automobile technology level, scene application and industrial scale will rank among the top in the country, the competitive advantages of new energy vehicles and intelligent networked vehicles will be further expanded, the industrial space layout will continue to improve, and the quality and brand benefits will continue to improve. An automobile innovation system with core models and new formats as the core is basically formed. On the basis of expanding and strengthening the international trade of automobile products, automobile consumption concepts and lifestyles lead the world.
The "Action Plan" proposes from the dimensions of technological innovation, industrial scale, spatial layout, promotion and application, and ecological cultivation, key core technology innovations, industrial development foundation empowerment, industrial space layout optimization, industrial scale and quality leaps, and intelligent networked vehicles. There are 10 key projects including quality development, demonstration of green and low-carbon innovation, promotion and application of new energy vehicles, international development of the automobile industry, leadership in automobile quality standard services, and improvement of automobile ecological and cultural experience, which are subdivided into 30 specific tasks.
